Vegetables with pomegranate Recipe


While i am writing this blog,the hardest thing for me to put a name to the foods.because i just sometimes cook whatever i like , not bound any recipe..today i wanted to cook something with vegetable, it is very light recipe that you can try especially in summer..


Ingredients

1zucchini
1red bell pepper
1green bell pepper
1/2 carrot
2sp pomegranate
olive oil
fresh basilicum
10-12 pine nut
3 sp parmesan

Cut julien all the vegs, julien means long and thin:)) cut all of them, put in a tray some olive oil, add the vegetables,add some salt and black pepper, cook a few min, add the pomegranate ,cook 10 min more till the vegs get soft , if you cook so much ,the vegs will melt because they are thin.on the other hand, fresh basil,nuts and parmesan will be blendered, by the way the fresh basilicums that i used my mum growed them in our balcony and the taste was realllyy perfect,
after everything ready ,i cut a bit tomato to serve,i put some olive oil and oregano on it, after put our vegetables and the top , the basilicum mix.. and the parmesan ,basil i love them both really..
it is ready!!

Manti (Turkish Ravioli) Recipe


Well although it seems easy to cook,it is not at all!! needed to spend much time, if you are new to cook i reccomend you to cook with less ingredients, lets say make it with just 1gl of flour,otherwise,pyou will get bored,tired and maybe hate to cook which i dont want;)
also when it takes much time ,the dough get softer and it stick each other so you need to be fast a bit.or for the first time you can ask for help :)
It is a food which is hard to cook ,easy to eat:))


Ingredients

2 cups flour
1egg
125 gram butter
125 gr. mince
1 onion
2 cup yoghurt
Enough salt
Red pepper, garlic.
Mint

For the dough,put flour ,egg,1/2sp salt,and enough water and knead it.when it is ready, divide it 2 piece and open it with rolling pin,it should be thin around 1mm, i know it is hard but when you start to do ,it comes itself,trust me ,it s my first time too:)
when it s opened, cut it as square , can be around 1,5cm..
other hand mix mince,finely chopped onion,salt and some black pepper, and put small amount of mince in middle of the dough that we cut. dont put too much otherwise you will live problem to close your mantı,
when u put them,merge the 2corners of the square dough, and it will look like a triangle..there are some varieties to close mantı,but this was the easiest one for me ,maybe next time if i learn ,i will do it another way..
when all the mantı are ready ,boil water in a deep pan, add some salt, and put your mantı,cook it for 5min.while it s cooking,melt butter and add some red pepper.
i like yogurt with garlic, so mix your yogurt with chooped garlic, you know if you eat this ,you have to eat it with garlic,
if everything ready,drain your mantı, add yogurt on it, and sauce,on the top add mint and you can serve..

Puff pastry Sweet with apple Recipe


I learnt this from my mum it is very light and nice sweet..

Ingredients
1 pocket puff pastry
4 grated apple
1 gl Crushed walnuts
8 sp.sugar
1 tea sp.cinnamon

Take your puff pastry from fridge , and let it melt.. Put the other ingredients in a pot and let it cook it a bit, let it boil 10min.. after it get cool, put some of it in the middle of the puff pastry, and close it, lay some oil in a tray to avoid to to stick with the tray, and put them send in to oven ,cook it till it get golden brown, after it cooked ,add some castor sugar on it and serve,

Vegetable gratin


Yesterday we celebrated to my good friend Turkay's birthday and we had fun with friends, with this regard, happy birthday to her again:))
today came home and was thinking what to cook, the good improvement sign is that i can make up new foods, at least new for me:) maybe someone else make it too but didnt see or notice till now, it just came to my mind and i tried and the result wasnt bad at all, i tried to cook vegetable gratin, it s almost like meatball recipe, just with veg ,it s good and tasty food also for vegetarias, and the dessert that i cooked it my mum's recipe.

Ingredients
1 jar garniture (400 gr)
1 gl bread crumbs
1 egg
Salt
Black Pepper
Cheese

I used garniture for easy but you can also make it fresh vegetable after you cook a bit.Make pure of the garniture with blender in 1 min, add bread crumbs,egg,salt,black pepper,and some grated cheese and mix it ,knead a bit.lay some oil in a small tray , and put your vegetables, add grated cheese on top and put it in oven with 200 degree till the cheese will get gold brown...i added some dry tomato before serving..

Firinda hunkarbegendili tavuk (chicken with eggplant in the oven)


A few days ago i have cooked ali Nazik kebap, and the eggpland food there i cooked original name is hünkarbeğendi, "Hünkarbeğendi" in turkish mean is "Sultan liked", i think that food has been cooked in Ottoman palaces for sultans ,thats why it got this name,it s funny right:))
even sultans liked so most of people suppose to like this food even if they dont like eggplant, the béchamel sauce give great taste into eggplant.. but my mum complain about i cooked too often Hünkarbeğendi so i think i should stop for sometime to cook eggplant:)

Ingredients

1 kg chicken, chopped
2 onions
3 green peppers
2 clove garlic
2 tomato
1 sp tomato paste
butter
salt
black pepper

For Hünkarbeğendi

butter
6 pieces of eggplant
1 tablespoon flour
1 cups milk
2 gl cheese
salt

Put butter into pot. Add chooped onions,green peppers,garlic,tomatos,tomato paste and gently turn,and add also salt and black pepper. after some min add chickens and cook it for 10 minutes. On the other side of eggplant are grilled over a fire or oven tray. melt some butter, add flour a tablespoon,cook it a bit and while you are adding cold milk,keep mix it till it get a bit solid. after our Béchamel sauce s ready add roasted and chopped eggplants and 1/2 gl of cheese, salt and mix it ,andddd it s ready. if your chicken also cooked..lie chickens in a tray and your hünkarbeğendi on it and add top your cheese.
cook it in oven till the cheese get brown..

Patatesli Kasarli Borek(Pie with potato&cheese) Recipe


Most of recipe i used to check from internet or from someone else i m hearing and trying to cook but this Börek was made up by me:)))
i just tried and the result wasnt bad at all..you may try too,as i told before cooking is just about imaginations..

Ingredients
For Dough
3 gl flour
1gl milk
1gl water
Salt

For inside
4 potato
1gl grated cheese
Salt
Black pepper
butter
2 egg

Peel potatos , put into water add some salt and cook till they can easily mash.from other hand , in a deep bowl put flour milk water some salt and mix it, knead till your dough get soft, it shouldnt be like juice , we say it should be like earlobe:))
when your potatos ready, mash it, add cheese and salt, pepper, and mix well,it should be like puree..if it s ready let it cool..
get some piece from your dough and make wide it with the help of rolling pin, make it as thin as possible, when it s ready put on the oily tray,and add your potatos equal every place of the dough, and open another dough and veil onto potatos, and again put potatos.. repeat thse floor like this till your dough and potatos finish , on the top , lay the yellow part of egg on your "börek", cook it for 30 min with 200degree in oven..

Hunkar begendi Recipe


Today i didnt feel to go out, weather is really hot. i noticed that i havent cooked some main dish from some time so i decided to cook some meat sih, and hunkar begendi is a dish from Gaziantep which is a nice city in turkey, i used mince for this but also you can cook with meat, and i used butter which makes it really more tasty.


Ingredients


4 Eggplant
butter
3 Coffee Cups Flour
3 Coffee Cups Milk
2 Coffee Cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
500 g mince
4 Piece Tomato
4 Piece Pointed Pepper
3 Coffee Cup Meat Juice
Salt

Put eggplants in oven. After changing their skins,mash with a fork to help. In a large skillet, melt butter,add flour and cook a bit, Then gradually add milk. Aubergine mashed with a fork for 1-2 minutes, 2 cup grated parmesan to the pan and transfer.
In a separate pan, put butter,add chopped onions and cook until pink healed. Stir mince. After 2-3 minutes, chopped tomatoes, green pepper, meat juice and add salt. After 10 minutes, download Firefox.Put your meat on the eggplants when you serve.

Pasta with olive and tomato sauce Recipe


Ingredients
1 packet pasta
Salt
Oil
Water

For sauce
3tomato
Olive or olive paste
2 clove garlic
Cheese
basilicum
Red pepper
salt
oil

Put pasta into boiled water add some oil and salt, cook it 10 min, while it s cooking, heat some oil and put inside chooped tomatos,olive/olive paste, garlic, cheese, cook them all for 5 min add salt,pepper, and basilicum..i really love basilicum..cook a bir more.. if your pasta is ready,drain the water , and add your sauce onto pasta,mix it and it s ready..

Omlet with vegetable Recipe



I noticed recently i just eat the foods i cook at home and my mum was telling me all the food at home i was finishing :))
today i cooked easy to prepare ,light, tasty and healthy foods.. an omlet with vegetable and pasta...

Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 zucchini
1/2 eggplant
1/2 red bell pepper
Dill
Basilicum
Parsley
Cheese
Salt
red pepper
oil

heat oil in a tray, put chopped zucchini,eggplant,red bell pepper, and cook 5 min..
finely chooped dill,basilicum,parsley and cheese, mixed with egg,add salt and ppeper, mix all together and add on vegetable, cook as you wish..
i preffered these vegs but also as per your taste, you may add other vegs like onion,mushrooms, and etc..

Lokma-A typical turkish dessert(yeast fritters in thick syrup)


Lokma means "morsel", it is a dessert that as we turkish love to cook, eat and share with people. Today is "regaip day" which is holy day for muslims, in this day prophet Mohammed was conceived at that night.. so this kinda holy days we especially cook this Lokma dessert and share with our relatives, neighboors , friends.. it is also so generous dessert, with small of dough you can have a lot of dessert to share with other people..


Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry yeast (1 teaspoon of yeast powder to melt the sugar and half a cup of warm water)
1 cup water
1 egg

For frying
1 cup oil

For syrup
4 cups water
5 cups
granulated sugar
2 teaspoon lemon juice

First of all, add sugar into warm water and yeast and swollen up to 10 minutes, we expect consistency.

Put your all ingredients into a deep bowl, add also ready yeast and mix it, you will have very soft,juicy dough. Leave the dough to rest 30 minutes, well let ferment.

On the other hand, to prepare the syrup, water and sugar together, put them into a saucepan and let sit over the fire. Medium heat, the sugar dissolves completely and let syrup solids until the boiler. Add the lemon juice and syrup, it became solid.

We have received a handful of soft dough, let common in our hands, our hands on the cob to the size of a piece.
With the help of a teaspoon of dough and then get it and into the hot oil, let the pan from a close distance. Let's bite prepared in this way. Let's bite the frying pan, shaking constantly.

As possible in the form of round balls drop into the skillet and fry. If you are like me and not talented , it will be really hard to form it like a ball , because the dough is the juice format..i didnt care it too much the taste and also form wasnt so bad so relax:))

However, another very important issue, tablespoon of dough at a time before diving into the hot oil and then dipped in batter taken. Line so that the oil of your spoon, spoon the dough to come to your regularly will help. So before the spoon, dip into hot oil, then remove the soft dough into the dip, take part in a large nut size, and let the hot frying pan. Spoon dipped into hot skillet, heat oil again, and again plunge into the soft dough. So that the dough until you run the same process continues.

Thoroughly flushed them with our bite, and let's just wait, let out into the warm syrup. When you want to offer the service.

Homemade salty cookie recipe



The cooking all just imagination , you can just mix something that you enjoy to eat and cook it, i bet the taste will be amazing.. as i told yesterday i cooked a cookie with sugar which i have taken the recipe from my friend. actually i am not so fan of desert or foods with sugar , i like salt more,some people need sugar sometimes you know, and i need salt:)) isnt it interesting:)
i just mixed the things i like and the result was so good..

Ingredients
2gl of flour
1/2gl oil
1gl white cheese(can be curd as well)
1/2gl of soda
Dill
Fresh basilicum
Salt
Black pepper

As i told i just mixed the ingredients i enjoy to eat like basil , drill,cheese..i put sode because i have read somewhere it boom to dough:)so mix all ingredients, knead the dough some min, and make small balls from dough, i open small hole with my finger, also you can use ready tablets for nice shapes.. and put some oil in a tray and lay your dough balls ,and send it to oven, cook for 25min with 150degree, and it is ready..

Cookie with Walnut Recipe


When we go to my friend Hanife' s house, we always ask her to cook her favourite cookies, she cook really good , and i asked her the recipe. i should say at the begining,she didnt wanna give it:))) after she gave;) unluckily i burned it a bit but the taste was still good:) so keep it watching when it s in oven..

Ingredients
3gl flour
2sp castor sugar
1gl of oil
1 gl walnut pieces or hazelnut

mix all the ingredients finely, knead a few min, and make the small balls from dough, put them in a tray and send it into oven, cook 15min with 150 degree.you may serve with some castor sugar or cinnamon.

Mucver (Zucchini Patty)


Today i was thinking what to cook and my manager! yes!i mean it; my manager Mr Semhan asked me to cook something real Turkey food like Mücver:) hmm actually the Zucchini Patty is not the real translation..so please call it "mücver":) anyway, the idea was perfect; the tasty,easy to cook, what can i want more:)
i noticed that i cooked a lot with zucchini..but you know ,actually nobody put the right value of the Zucchini, most of people dont like to eat it, it is actually very good food, and please keep in mind if you wanna lose weight , 100gr zucchini has just 14calori..isnt it awesome? yes!!you should cook it more and please dont say that children dont like to eat it!especially 1-6 year old children cant choose the foods, the parents behaviors give him/her the eating habit.. so if you eat,children will too...

Ingredients

2 medium zucchini
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1 bunch green onions
1 bunch fresh dill
1 bunch fresh mint
cheese(optional)
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper

After digging up,wash the zucchini and grate. squeeze zucchini to drain the water. Mix finely chopped onions,dill,mint and cheese with the zucchin.Add the egg and flour,salt,and pepper,mix well. Heat oil and fry with a tablespoon of the prepared mixture,do it for a double-side. You can serve hot or cold. We serve it with yogurt as well..

Mercimek Koftesi(Lentil Patties)


Well, it s again really easy and tasty food for you. it is typical turkish apettizer.when you have guests at home you may cook this and serve with tea, easy to cook really, as i told before ; if i can cook everyone can..:)
i really enjoy cooking and writing this blog, but i am not sure if i was married and had to cook after work ,and tired..now it is fun and still have energy and i just realized that i really cook easy and tasty foods:) everybody who can work can cook easily all of my recipes..

Ingredients

* 1 cup fine bulgur
* 1 cup red lentils
* 1 tablespoon chili paste
* 1 onion
* 1 lemon
* 1 handful parsley
* 2 stalks green onions
* Curly
* Olive
* Salt
* Black Pepper
* Cumin

Wash lentils with 3 cups water until cooked porridge. Taken from the oven when cooked lentils 1 cup fine bulgur into the bottle is left to be made. If not at the desired consistency of wheat can be added rigidity.

In the meantime, onion and parsley are chopped. Roasted tomato and onion. Lentils, bulgur mixture with bottled spring onions, parsley, tomato paste is added and mixed. Adjust salt and spices. Be made in the form of meatballs, served with plenty of curls.
when i was preparing it,wrongly i added all pocket black pepper..lol... :) and it s been a bit hot.. but the taste still good;)

Oven spaghetti


You know, the pasta is my favorite dish always. when i go out for lunch i order pasta.they say it doesnt make you gain weight but if you put too much souce in it to make tastier then alarm bell starts to ring:))
enjoy with the spaghetti..

Ingredients
package spaghetti
canning condiments

For Béchamel sauce;
butter
2 sp flour
1 gl milk
salt and pepper

put in boil water our pasta. and cook for 10 min,drain and rinse garnish, on the one hand, we make our Béchamel sauces, add butter,flour and cook for 1 min and add cold milk on it and mix till it become bechamel..add our garnish and cooked pasta and mix well all of it, spread in a tray of pasta, and top of it add cheese,cook until golden brown in the oven later.

Beef with vegetables


Hello dear followers,
i was away from home for sometime so i couldnt cook but i will compansate that on weekend:)
Today at home the menu is beef with vegetable and oven spaghetti.

Ingredients
4 piece steak (is opened thin)
1 zucchini
1 red bell pepper
Fresh Basilicum
1 sp tomato paste
2-3piece chives
2 glove garlic
oil
salt
black pepper

lay some salt and black pepper on to steaks , and let them wait till we prepare inside of them. heat some oil and add finely chopped zucchini,red bell pepper,fresh basil,chives and garlics, cook them for a few min. when it s ready ,put some on them on the steaks and roll them, i keep 2 picks to avoid them to open. after put them all in a tray, melt 1sp tomato paste with hot water and all it on the tray and put it in oven for 20-25 min.

Pizza (The most tasty and easy pizza in the World)


I should thank to my dear friend Ender for this amazing recipe, i dont exxagerate; it is really the fastest, easiest and the most tasty pizza you can make at home. If you got last minute guests at home , you can easily make this recipe and make all your guests happy, you can trust me;)

Ingredients
3 tortilla
3 cherry tomato
5 olive
7-8 pieces Pepperoni
7-8 pieces dried tomatos
1 gl grated mozarella
fresh basilicum
1 sp tomato paste
salt
black pepper
oil

lay some oil into the tray to avoid pizza sticking to the tray. put first tortilla, lay small piece oil and mozarella , add other tortilla on it and again same thing; lay some oil and mozarella , and the latest add the last torilla on it. put your tomatos,olives,pepperoni,dried tomatos, and cutted fresh basilicum onto your tortilla bread. melt your tomato paste into 1 hot glass of water, and add some salt,black pepper and mix it, lay this mix on your pizza , and latest add some black pepper and cook it into heated oven for 15 min. before you take out your pizza from oven add some mozeralla at the top and keep it for sometime into heated oven for 1 min.and your delicious pizza is ready.

Cin Boregi(Chinese spring rolls )


Today , i had too much nice plan to cook and enough motivation, this blog made me so motivated about cooking. After work i went to market , bought a lot of nice,fresh vegetables, spices and so on..i will use these for upcoming recepies. i came home and started cooking ,i didnt even had dinner, i had wanted to cook Samosa which is indian appetizer, and chinese spring rolls, i spent around 2 hours to cook them and unfortunately samosa was just disappointment..:(( eveybody hated it include me.tx GOD still i had something tasty; Chinese Spring Rolls...:) i am just eating it while i am writing this post to you ,i keep eating:) and it is real taste... i dont like soy sauce normally but it is really good friend for spring rolls..

Ingredients


3 pieces of dough
2 egg whites
4-5 tablespoons soy oil
2 spoon soy sauce
3-4 medium leeks
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
Three pieces of white cabbage leaves
1.5 cups milk
1 cup bread crumbs
salt
black pepper

Brown finely chooped onion in oil . After a very finely chopped cabbage, grated carrots and add finely chopped leek. Add salt,black pepper&soy sauce . Beat egg white with very little salt. Cut the dough in 8 pieces ,they should be like triangle..lay the egg these pieces and one by one put inside your vegetable mixture , and roll it.put the rolls in milk a few min and after cover with bread crumbs, lay all rolls in a tray and cook in the oven around 20 min.
